SAE 1030, CS/MS Seamless Pipe - Report attached herewith for material
CriticalA pipe made of SAE 1030 carbon steel. The test found that the pipe contains mainly iron with small amounts of Carbon (0.296%), Silicon (0.088%), Manganese (0.778%), Phosphorus (0.012%), Sulfur (0.003%), Chromium (0.021%), Molybdenum (0.001%), Nickel (0.010%), Copper (0.010%), and Aluminium (0.044%). All these values were checked against the required standard limits — for example, Carbon should be between 0.28–0.34%, Manganese between 0.60–0.90%, and both Phosphorus and Sulfur should stay below 0.040% and 0.050% respectively — and the pipe passed all of them, meaning the material is confirmed to be genuine SAE 1030 steel and safe to use as per the standard.
