Description
A socket weld flange (SWRF) is a specialized pipe fitting similar to a slip-on flange, but it features a counter-bored hole (socket) that matches the outside diameter of the pipe. The pipe is inserted into the socket until it rests entirely against the bottom shoulder, and is then secured with a single fillet weld around the hub of the flange. For high-stress applications, an optional internal weld can also be applied.
Product Overview: When your piping infrastructure demands robust performance under extreme stress, Rajendra Industrial Corporation delivers with our premium ASME B16.5 Socket Weld Flanges. Manufactured in India and exported globally, these flanges are engineered to provide exceptional flow characteristics by matching the remaining bore of the flange to the inside diameter of the pipe, minimizing turbulence and friction.
Available in a diverse array of high-grade materials—including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Duplex Steel, and specialized Nickel Alloys (such as Inconel, Monel, and Hastelloy)—our socket weld flanges ensure superior structural integrity. They are the ultimate, leak-proof solution for small-diameter, high-pressure piping networks.
Applications
Primary Use: Small-diameter, high-pressure piping systems. Key Industries: Fluid power systems, chemical processing, and power generation. Ideal Environments: Highly suited for hydraulic lines and steam lines where internal flow efficiency and high structural strength are critical.
